GRYFFIN ROBERT WYNN

THIS LITTLE MAN MADE HIS ARRIVAL ON MARCH 15, 2013 @ 8:35 PM

7LB 15OZ AND 21 IN LONG.

HIS BIRTH CAME AT A TIME OF "SADNESS" FOR OUR FAMILY BUT HE AS BEEN A LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS AND HAS HELPED US THRU OUR GRIEF.

 

 I WILL TALK MORE ABOUT THAT IN ANOTHER POST ALONG WITH HIS BIRTH STORY...:)

Denial/Acceptance

I will start by explaining this picture...:)

About the same time Emmy turned 10 months I found out I was expecting again. Now I was mortified, i cried a lot and pretty much told myself it couldn't be true...hahaha right.

Adam was my "Saving Grace" he was always there to comfort me and assure me that everything would work out, Yes it would be hard work but we would be given the strength to get thru it.

We waited until Adam's Bday to tell everyone, I was 12 weeks then and it had been a hard 12 weeks. I had been extremely sick, super tired and to top it off I had a very mobile 11 month old needing my attention...O boy.

And OH BOY was right a month and 1/2 later we found out we were expecting a handsome little man...:)

Adam was thrilled, it just stressed me out even more, I know nothing about boys...but I'm sure it will just come naturally to me right...?

Izzy called it right from the beginning that it was a boy and I'm grateful it was because she probably would have asked me to send it back if it had turned out to be another girl....:)

Emmy is not to fond of my growing belly, she likes to hit it and then sometimes she will be a stinker and come over and lay her head on it and pet it and then a split second later she bites my belly...really...is this a preface for the upcoming sibling rivalry?

And here I am with 4 1/2 weeks to go, I am feeling very huge, my back hurts all the time and I am ready to meet this little man.

We do have a name picked out for him but I will announce that when he gets here, in case we change our minds....:)

So here's to hoping he will make his appearance sooner than later but whenever he does come I hope I can find the strength to juggle a newborn, a 17 month old, and an almost 5 year old....haha

Six Months & Solids

My sweet Emmy turned 6 months on the 6th of April...Oh my Goodness time has flown by. We gave her some cereal to celebrate the occation and she did not like it...she just stored it in her cheeks and then spit it all out at once.

Since then we tried again and she loves it and eats cereal like a charm...Next step baby food...what should I try on her first?

I am still nursing her on days that I am home and I pump enough at work so she hasn't had any formula yet...:) I am so happy for this even though it is stressful at times I love the time I get with her during our feeding sessions..:)

She can now roll over from her back to her stomach and from her stomach to her back..Its so cute..everytime she rolls over she makes a grunting noise..ADORABLE.

SHe has yet to sleep all night in her crib...Since we brought her home from the hospital she has slept in a little rocker/sleeper next to our bed and I think she got used to it rocking everytime she moved..So she has always slept thru the night but since trying to transition her to her crib she always wakes up after a couple of hours and once i put her back into her rocker she goes right back to sleep.

An look at those EYES...never in my life did I think I would have a BLue EYED BABy.

Everyone comments on how bright they are and then they look at me and get a confused look on there faces because I have the complete opposite eye color.

But i swear she is mine and I love her to pieces...:)

Eternal Forever FAMILY

Yesteday Adam and I had the wonderful opportunity to see our niece be sealed to her dad, stepmom (but she doesn't consider her her stepmom), and 4 brothers.

WOW this was an AMAZING experience.

THe spirit that I felt when those kids walked into the sealing room and to see Becca (stepmom) start crying was almost to much to stand....I cryed a lot.

This was A day that ADam's family has been waiting for for a long time and to be a witness to it was a honor.

And now they are an ETERNAL FAMILY..

MY HEART IS SO FULL!!!!!
